HSPE Testing

High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE) Schedule

• The Statewide High School Proficiency Exam will take place March 15-17. 
• All Sophomores (10th grade) will take this exam. 
• Juniors and Seniors who have not passed or have missed the reading and/or writing HSPE must attend and will be given a written reminder notice prior to the exam dates.

March 15 –Writing – 8:00-11:30; March 16 – Writing – 8:00-11:30;

March 17 – Reading – 8:00-11:30. 

Instructions for Test Takers

• Get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast
• Students need to be at TCS by 8:00 am, testing will start promptly at 8:15 am
• All students taking the HSPE, report to Conference Room A/B
• Turn off cell phones, backpacks in the storage room, find your seat and get ready!

Students not taking the test (Freshmen and students who have passed the reading/writing)
will have a late arrival on those three days, except for Book Chats and QSR’s.
