SENIOR CELEBRATION - 6/28/10

The Senior Celebration is an annual Center School which allows our graduating seniors to showcase some of the best work from their time as students here.  All 9th – 11th graders will cycle through the three venues showing the seniors’ work artwork, films, projects and presentations, and parents are invited to join us, too. The Celebration will go from 9:00 am to noon, and there will be food!

ARTS SHOWCASE - 6/9/10

Annual Center School event from 6pm - 9pm. There will be student presentations of drama, improv, poetry, film and visual arts. The CSCA will be holding a bake sale fundraiser. (In your student hand books the date is incorrect, this event was moved to the same night of the film festival.) All are welcome!

GRADUATION - 6/16/10

6/16/10 - 7pm @ the Seattle Repertory Theater, 155 Mercer St.

 

 

 

 

 

HSPE TESTING

The High School Proficiency Exam will be given  on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 for Math and the Science exam will be on Thursday, April 15, 2010.  All testing will be done at The Center School. Students should plan to arrive by 8:15 a.m. since testing will begin at 8:30 a.m.  All 10th grade students are required to take these exams and 11th grade students that still need to meet standard were given a reminder.   Postcards were also mailed home to remind parents.   Students will need to bring their own calculators.  It is important that students get a good night sleep the day before testing and that they eat breakfast.  Students that miss the exams will need to make up the tests in August.  Please feel free to contact our office at (206) 252-9852 if you have any questions or concerns.
